Cashelmara is a 50-unit high-rise residential complex on the Gold Coast. With original electrical infrastructure approaching end-of-life, the Body Corporate engaged Switchboard Logic to deliver a complete main switchboard replacement. The project was driven by compliance requirements, the need to improve safety for residents, and to future-proof the building’s electrical capacity for decades ahead.
Our team managed the project end-to-end — from initial site inspection and capacity assessment, through to the design and installation of a custom-built main switchboard. The upgrade was executed with a single-day site shutdown to minimise resident disruption, supported by weeks of planning and pre-fabrication. The new installation meets current Australian standards, integrates modern safety systems, and is designed for future scalability.
Following the successful upgrade, Cashelmara entered into a structured maintenance agreement with Switchboard Logic. This ensures the building’s electrical infrastructure remains in peak condition, with scheduled inspections, compliance monitoring, and rapid fault response as part of our ongoing service commitment.
